TransNexus’s September robocall trends, published October 15, are built on YouMail’s Robocall Index. Overall robocalls fell 1.2% from August, to the lowest month of the last six, and were down 5.2% from September 2025. Scam robocalls fell 4.1% from an August peak but were up 12% year on year, and TransNexus describes the six-month scam trend as “a sharp upward trend.” Scams were 33% of all robocalls, down from 34% in August.
The post gives percentages only. YouMail publishes the absolute monthly volumes. TransNexus sells robocall analytics and call authentication, and it is reading a call-protection vendor’s dataset here.
This series and TransNexus’s own STIR/SHAKEN statistics measure different things. This one is YouMail’s estimate of robocalls placed to consumers, which fell. The STIR/SHAKEN post counts robocalls as a share of calls reaching TransNexus customers, which rose to 3.4% from 3.2% in the same month.
